Kane Morris | Principle

Kane began his career on a construction crew building homes during summer vacations while he was a high school student in Greybull, Wyoming. He is a pragmatist with a knack for building and has carried these values with him through Architecture school at Montana State University where he earned his Master of Architecture degree in 1999. His course of study included extensive travel though Europe where he developed an interest in European design techniques and traditions. Following school, he was recruited by a Boise based log home manufacturer as a designer. Kane spent four years designing dozens of log structures for Precision Craft Log Homes of Meridian, Idaho. Ultimately, he returned to construction and management when he was promoted to plant manager and placed in charge of developing a new Timber Frame division and overseeing the operation of sophisticated manufacturing machinery and software.

In 2004 Kane departed the log and timber home business to co-found Point Architects. Now, his duties include; running construction oversight, CAD drafting, business management and leadership of the sales team.

His contribution to the community has included pro-bono consulting for his local library board to refine plans for their new facility. He has also a Co-Chaired the Garden City Chamber of Commerce Government Affairs Committee since 2006.
