  • I would have pictured the aircraft facing in...not sure why, but it seems backward to walk up to the tail of the airplanes.
  • Would there be any storage space requirements for the revolving displays?
  • I think it is a great plan to have indoor display areas.
  • I especially like the memorial gardens.
  • I like the concept of making the airplane ‘circular’ display just an extension of the present rest area.
  • Does WYDOT or the county own the land which lies to the west of the current west boundary of the rest area?
  • How big a problem ($$-wise) will the relocation of the power lines be? Can some of that be under ground?
  • What [are the logistics of] the movement of the planes into and out of this area?
  • Would ingress and egress paths need to be created in the current “living snow fence” area?
  • Is a ‘security fence’ of four to four and a half feet high enough to separate the two areas?
  • Re: recording studio- Those stories are called "TINS", because they always start out with, "This is no s**t..."
  • You can throw some airplanes into a viewing area, but it won't have the effect that it could.
  • The creation of a Museum for Aerial Firefighting by definition requires information, displays, memorabilia, pictures, stories, history, etc.  Without these items, you have an static aircraft display, not a museum.  Most of this information is probably retained by the founders and/or their families, and it would be important to determine if they are supportive and agreeable to the project, and willing to contribute items of interest to the cause.  The creation of a museum honors those who created the legacy, and I'm sure they understand that.
